Player needs to make adequate use of battlefield terrains and defense facilities as well as expertise of each unit to win advantage.
Cutting retreat route or encircling enemy will bring great change to battlefield situation.

Accumulation of Medals achieved through battles guides your way from soldier to marshal.
Upgrade of military facilities in the headquarters will offer essential supply in the war.
Recruit other officers to strengthen force. Its important to take advantage of each officers expertise.

Pros and cons of Glory of Generals app for iPhone and iPad

Glory of Generals app good for

It is very enjoy able and makes you think on how to deploy your troops.
Its a great game and the strategy and tactics of it are awesome. The military history is awesome too, but there are some serious historical problems. The biggest one probably is that General "Holt" is misspelled and is actually Colonel-General Hermann Hoth. The Greek marshal "Pappgoose" is actually Marshal Papagos. There are also placement errors like where Frederich Von Paulus tends to be placed in the north in Western Front Europe 1943 instead of the south towards Stalingrad instead of north of Warsaw where he was stationed with Reichenau in 1941. Uh so game is awesome, history is periodically screwed up in this game. Buy it though.
A mix of command & conquer and civilization. Several missions To play. Great game!!!!
Anyone who had played panzer corps and commander will recognize elements of both games in it. Im in the beginning of the first campaign and until now its seen to be a very stable game (never crashed or any other problem in my ipad2). Strongly recommended and its free for a limited time..
I went on to the app store to look for a decent strategy game, I was surprised of how fun this game is! Is a fun stategy game with loads of things to do, you wont get bored!!!!
Pretty tight. Maybe a little shallow but still lots of fun for any strategy fan. Recommend.

Some bad moments

This game, is no where near as fun as the previous easy tech games, and the generals all cost money, so its lying to you saying you get all these generals!
Good game but generals cost a ton and can you please remove 100 turn limit on legion mode.
Not only do you have to buy the game, it is a virtual money pit in order to purchase generals, better tech, to advance. The developers got greedy and decided to charge for everything as opposed to letting a players improved skill/strategy determine their advancement in the game. Thus I will not get any more games from this developer any more as I dont appreciate having to pay more and more once I have already paid for a game.
The local game mode always crashes half way through fix it and its a five star..
First i tought it was a great game. But after 3 weeks and to much paid for this game. To advance i bought medals, i should not paid for that , i realize now to get past the first campain it would cost me a lot of money. Medals are very hard to obtain and you dont have enough time. Sometime i think they should allowed twice the time to complete some mission
At first this game seemed great but after the first 2 rounds the game becomes frustrating to due lack of res to build units, incompetent allies, low medal rewards, and inequality of spaces to conquer given a low time limit would appreciate it if u change all of the following suggestions. As well it would be better if as u finish a campaign u unlock a new general that would be better. Plz and thx for allowing me to take this time to make the suggestions
